The CFR offers itself as a decisive and reliable partner to promote the transfer of strategic and innovative technologies from research to application.

The CFR works closely with the Liaison Office of the University of Ferrara. It brings together the supply from centres of excellence and the demand from industrial R & D and from the competitive growth of high-tech businesses.

The CFR provides support for companies by offering advice and services; it creates and/or participates in companies, including profit-making companies, which are instrumental in carrying out activities such as organisation of conferences, technical-administrative spin-off management, etc.; it promotes cooperation agreements, also on an international scale, between research institutes and industrial companies.

CFR is associated member of Unione Industriali of the Province of Ferrara.
